May 19 -23,  2014 - Sister City Signing with Lusaka, Zambia.  May 22 evening reception 5:30 – 7:30 PM at African American Performing Arts Center (State Fair grounds off of San Pedro).  Food, entertainment, and official signing ceremony.

June 8, 2014 - Annual Meeting. 12:30 – 3:30 PM. Food, entertainment, and short business meeting. Venue TBD. Call Carol Dawley (883-9516) if questions.

July 31 – August 2, 2014 - Sister Cities International Annual Conference. Theme: The power of digital diplomacy. Venue: The Fairmont San Jose Hotel 170 S. Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113.

August 8-18, 2014 - Membership trip to Helmstedt, Germany. In addition to visiting our sister city Helmstedt, other stops are planned for Berlin and Dresden.  Contact Chair Nathan Young (977-6033) for details.

Late August, 2014 - Harvey Phillips Chapter of the International Tuba Euphonium Association concert series visit to sister city Chihuahua, Mexico.  Contact Dr. Richard White, UNM Department of Music at rawhite@unm.edu, for more information. Exact dates still pending.

October 8 – 21, 2014 (tentative dates) - Possible membership trip to China, including a visit to Lanzhou our sister city. Call Chair Dr. Hsi (345-3866) or Co-Chair Dr. Lin Ye (249-4896) to indicate interest.

December 21, 2014 - January 8, 2015 - New Mexico Philharmonic Concert Tour in China. In addition to playing in our sister city Lanzhou, other cities currently slated for appearances on this tour include Suzhou, Hangshou, Nanjing, Maanshen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Dalian.
